As a Cooperate Social Responsibility of Pioneer Academic and Scientific Education/Group Pioneer Sarl (GPS/ PASE), we run a humanitarian, non-political and non-profit making community-based organization called “Mbore-Ala’ah”. It has as goal to promote peace building and sustainable development, first within the pinyin clan, the Northwest and then Cameroon as a whole. Mbore-Ala’ah has been existing under the wings of GPS /PASE for over 17 years and has carried out several development initiatives in the communities with the promotion of sustainable driven initiatives at its helm. In her peace fostering activities, Mbore-Ala’ah has contributed reasonably to the reduction of conflicts between traditional leaders in the villages within the pinyin clan. She has also intervened in civic activities by successfully mobilizing resources and the population for the coronation of the fon of Tisagli village, mobilizing the pinyin clan population for election registration and effective participation (2012) and for the formation of the pinyin clan council. We are currently at the forefront, advocating for the reduction and prevention of traditional leadership conflicts in the pinyin clan and rehabilitation of schools following the post (and still ongoing) Anglophone crisis. We also contributed enormously to the strategic development plan for the clan under the clan Traditional Development Council.
